Research in the Schaeffer lab focuses on genetic database development and implementation and on gene ontologies in plants. Dr. Schaeffer is a curator of the Maize Genome Database and a member of the Plant Gene Ontology Consortium. She was also a coPI on the Maize Mapping Project.
